Information on getcopymark.com is publicly available trademark data from the United States Patent and Trademark Office. getcopymark.com is not the USPTO. Owner names, addresses, and other case details shown here are the public record the USPTO publishes.
Changes are made at the USPTO
Any change to the data should be directed to the USPTO. When the USPTO updates the public record, getcopymark.com mirrors those updates from the daily USPTO import. We do not edit a name, address, or other trademark record independently of the current USPTO public record.
If you do not want your name or street address published
The USPTO generally publishes the owner name and address on a trademark record. People who do not want a personal name or street address to appear have two options:
• Assign the trademark to an LLC, trust, or another separate entity.
• Change the address published by the USPTO so your private address is a domicile address and your public address can be a PO Box.
Those changes are made with the USPTO. After the USPTO publishes the update, this site will show the updated public record.
Sensitive information the USPTO may redact
The USPTO distinguishes between ordinary public trademark information and genuinely sensitive material, such as Social Security numbers, passport numbers, bank details, medical information, and similar records, which it may redact. See the USPTO personal information FAQ.
If that kind of information is still visible on getcopymark.com after the USPTO has removed or redacted it, or if this site shows something the current USPTO public record does not, use the form on this page.
What this form is for
This form is for a mismatch: GetCopyMark appears to display information beyond the current USPTO public record, including information the USPTO has removed or redacted. It is not a way to suppress a name or address that the USPTO still publishes.
